LED Flex signs are a more economic alternative to traditional neon signs, and to NeonPlus LED signs, and offer a solution where budgets can’t stretch to the premium products.
LED FLEX SIGNS
LED Flex signs are usually supplied bonded onto a 5mm backing panel, which can be rectangular/square, or contour cut to shape. These LED signs are pre-wired as standard, ready to plug and play, and can be supplied with a dimmer, if required. Illumination on LED Flex signs is only from the face, and a small part of the side, there is no illumination from the back.
A lot of companies selling this exact same type of illuminated signage may try and sell it to you as a ‘modern day neon sign’ or ‘neon LED’ or ‘LED neon’. An LED flex sign is NOT a neon sign, but an alternative type of signage to a neon sign.
Why is this distinction important? Because you, the customer, should know exactly what it is you are buying. For clarity, a neon sign is made from glass tubes that are filled with neon gas or a combination of neon and argon gas, an LED flex sign is made from light emitting diodes (LED’s) that our housed on a strip and insulated by a transparent cover, usually PVC or silicone. They are both types of illuminated signage, but they are not both neon.
