With Christmas fast approaching, we thought that it would be good to show you some of the festive Neon Creations that we have made over the years. Most of the Christmas neon signs and art that we have made has been for domestic clients, as commercial projects are generally left too late to order in time! Additionally, many of the signs that we have created for domestic clients have been purchased as a Christmas gift to a loved one or friend and are personalised.
This beautiful blue neon sign was created for the home of one of our clients, Chloe. Just in case you didn’t get that from the design…
This gorgeous pink neon sign was created for a domestic client who wished to remind their loved one every day that they love them; subsequently rendering voicing those three little words on a daily basis redundant. Nevertheless, we’re sure that they loved this sign just as much as they love each other! Find out more about our personalised neon signs.
Shown below is our ‘Happy Christmas‘ neon hire signs that was used as part of the decorations that our client covered their home in, just to make sure that everyone on their street knew that Christmas was just around the corner. Most of us usually just await the Coca-Cola advert to tell us when we’re “allowed” to be festive, but not these trendsetters!
We have also created a few for much more commercial use, of which one example is shown below. This quirky play on the popular song was created for a shop window to attract the attention of people passing by, but the irony of this is that it was placed inside the warm shop telling all passers-by that it’s cold outside. Well, they weren’t lying…
For us, it’s satisfying enough living in the knowledge that our neon signs have helped to brighten up our clients’ Christmas, perhaps even more so than their tree!
Whilst on the topic of festivities, (as mentioned on our Facebook page) we recently featured in Harper’s Bazaar’s aptly-named online edition of “The Bazaar Guide to Bespoke Gifts” with our custom-made ‘Beauty’ neon sign; which was based on a handwritten design.
First published in 1867, Harper’s Bazaar considers itself to be the style resource for “women who are the first to buy the best, from casual to couture”, and aims to deliver a more “sophisticated” perspective to upper-class women interested in fashion, beauty and popular culture.
With a reported total circulation of 754,846 for the 1st half of 2014, and online traffic figures estimated to be just under 1 million unique monthly visitors, this was great exposure for us and we are delighted to have featured within this Christmas special.
The unique characteristic of this particular neon sign is that the sign may be interpreted in different ways and could be quizzical; perhaps it is named ‘Beauty’ because it is aesthetically pleasing in nature, or maybe it’s more symbolic in reminding us of all the beauty that exists in the world?
Everybody loves advent calendars and counting down the days until Christmas is an exciting feeling for all. However, for us, this year has been made that little bit extra special as we have been informed that we are set to feature in the Great Business Advent Calendar, which features one great business and a little excerpt about them and what they do.
This calendar was created to celebrate the Business is GREAT campaign, with each door revealing the compelling story behind a variety of “show-stopping” small businesses and how the government have supported their growth.
As the days whittle down to the 25th, we have yet to feature behind one of the doors, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled (just as we are) for the date of our exposure and ‘Tweet’ us if you see it before we do!
