As lockdown restrictions are gradually easing, many of you are no doubt looking for ways to get back out in the wide world and make up for lost time, albeit still a bit cautiously. If you’re looking for something a bit different and a fun way to spend a day out, why not try your hand at making your very own neon sign?
We are offering the chance to sign up for a neon sign making workshop, where you can spend a day with us learning how neon signs are made and giving a go yourself. It’s something we’ve wanted to do for years, and it makes for a great day out either for yourself or as a gift for a loved one.
So, why should you sign up today?
Our very own experienced neon glass benders have been making neon signs for years, and they will show you what it takes during a one-day workshop. It’s a fascinating form of art, and takes real skill to bend and shape the glass to create a truly unique product. Our workshop is suitable for two participants, and you’ll both receive one-on-one tuition.
Whether you’re already quite artistic or not at all, our neon sign workshop will certainly teach you a thing or two! Learn all about the different steps involved in making a neon sign, from the initial idea to pumping the gas through the glass tubes and assembling the finished piece.
Our neon sign making workshop gives you the opportunity to come behind the scenes and find out a little more about our glass shop. Find out more about the faces behind Neon Creations and what makes our neon shop so special, and how far we’ve come since opening 16 years ago.
The tour of our neon shop will show off all the different types of neon signs we can make, and hopefully give you a great sense of the hard work and craftsmanship that has gone into making Neon Creations who we are today. We can also tell you a little more about how we make our neon signs and all the different stages involved before we send out our unique signs to our customers.
As well as teaching you some fascinating history and letting you have a nosey at our neon shop, you’ll actually be able to have a go at bending glass and making your own neon sign! We will get in touch before your workshop visit to talk more about your chosen design, and once you arrive you can get started on making it a reality.
The best bit about this is our team can finish off the sign for you, making sure it’s done to a professional standard. We’ll fit it on to a white acrylic panel with the transformer fitted, so that you can take it home and hang it up.
