Yes you can!! We have been busy building up our range of neon signs for hire, and now have signs suitable for theme nights, various birthday ages, and also signs that may be suitable for film and tv productions.
Neon sign for hire
The ‘Girls’ sign below was recently hired for a production that will appear on BBC3 later on this year.
We are now trying to promote our range of neon signs for hire, as not many people realise that they have the option to hire as well as to buy – please spread the word if you know anyone who might be having a party, a wedding, or any other event where they may want to enhance the overall look of the room with a stunning neon sign.
If you take a look at our range and can’t see what you are looking for, please ask us. If its a sign that we feel that we would be able to hire out again in the future then we wouldn’t hesitate in adding to our catalogue.
For a while now we have been experimenting with the use of Ultra Violet (UV) neon light, and we are really pleased with the effects. The images below show the UV neon sign firstly switched off, and then switched on.
This is a completely unrivalled product, as unlike standard UV blacklight which comes in straight tubes, UV neon tubing can be bent into shapes or words.
The UV neon creates really striking effects when used in combination with fluorescent paints, or vinyls. This looks particularly stunning in dark environments such as nightclubs and bars, but can look equally as good as an art piece in the home.
The pieces that we have manufactured are just to give an idea of how the UV neon light can be used, and the end results that can be achieved, so if you have a particular idea that you would like to explore, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
If you are thinking of using neon to enhance a particular room at home, or maybe to have in the office reception area, you could choose to have an image or abstract shape as a custom made neon sign, rather than have some words in neon.
We have worked on a number of such projects, and I’m sure you will agree that the results are equally as striking as neon text.
This neon sign below was a logo for a club night – ‘Lets Go Crazy’ – which we made using red neon. The middle of the image was enhanced by using red vinyl, just to add more depth to the neon sign.
This Pink Flamingo below was made for an events company for use at a corporate Christmas party:
The bespoke neon sign below was part of the corporate logo for Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw, which they had manufactured for display in their reception area:
The neon swallow below was commissioned by an artist for display in a gallery:
We have also previously made some clouds in neon that were displayed on a living room wall (sorry we don’t have any pics!), and don’t discount simple shapes, which when combined together in abstract colours, can look really good.
If you have any idead that you would like to discuss with us, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
One of our most recent projects has been to make the bing logo in neon lights.
We were approached by Touch Worldwide Ltd, a global consultancy, to recreate the bing logo in neon. We manufactured four neon signs, two in white neon, and two in blue neon, for the Microsoft offices in London.
This project was also slightly unusual as the signs could not be fixed onto the walls, or be hung from anywhere, so we sourced some hanging rails so the signs could be fixed onto these.
Microsoft were so pleased with their finished neon signs, that a couple of weeks after they had them, we had another request for a smaller version of the sign, to be supplied to the Microsoft Seattle office.

Our work was recently featured again on a BBC drama.
Worried About the Boy was shown on BBC2 in May, and tells the story of Boy George before Culture Club’s first appearance on Top of the Pops in 1982.
We made two neon signs for the drama, one being a replica of the Top of the Pops neon sign.
After filming had finished, the Top of the Pops neon sign was bought by Mathew Horne, who played Jon Moss in the drama.
The other sign we made was a re-creation of the neon sign that was originally outside the Blitz Club, where Boy George spent a lot of his time.
The drama was filmed in Manchester, and we worked closely with Red Production Company to ensure that both neon signs matched the originals as closely as possible.
At Neon Creations we are finding that people are increasingly setting up home bars (lucky them!), and that they are requesting neon bar signs to add as a finishing touch to the room.
Particularly popular are signs that are supplied on acrylic panels that are cut to the outline of the letters. These are completely custom made, and we can work to a given design, or create a design to your specifications. These signs simply plug into an accessible plug socket.
Our clients often specify the addtion of a neon cocktail glass to the sign, just to give their sign a more retro feel.
In addition to making bar signs for the domestic market, we also make neon bar signs for the commercial market. Again, these usually just plug into a mains socket, or can be supplied for a qualified electrician to install according to IEE wiring regulations.
In addition to traditional custom made neon signs, we are also able to offer other neon products, such as our neon infinity box, which makes a great visual impact in any bar, be it in the home or out on the town.
Please contact us if you would like to discuss your ideas for your own unique neon bar sign.
Back in December 2008 we were contacted by Paul’s Boutique, the designer handbag and clothing label. They needed a custom made neon sign to use at the Clothes Show Live. The sign was based on a handwriting design, which was replicated in pink neon.
Paul Slade said; “The sign looked so good. Everyone commented on how cool it looked. It made our stand look the best. The finished sign was even better than our expectations, and it was very good value for money.”
Paul’s Boutique have just launched their new website, and have featured the neon sign on the home page.
